Hey Doug we lay out our small pop up tents and hunker down before nightfall but if you have a piggyback camper you should be ok because you park like a regular truck does and if the cops say anything you tell them you've been driving for 6 hours on the way to Key West and need some sleep,,,,,,,,,,they can't make you drive while falling asleep.

We've got a good bunch coming together for this event once again.Hopefully we'll have some west coast sharkers coming down to join us for this annual event. The weather looks like it will be clearing up by tommorow with the rain showers being moved out by a slight front moving through the area. The weak front will drop temps into the mid 60's at night so be sure and pack a sweater if you're coming out.We may have overcast skies that will be the worst of it, but that makes the fishing more comfterble. As always I'll be preparing my sushi and ceviche appetizers for the Saturday night cook out.The tuna will be courtesy of the Islamorada Tiki bar,Whale Harbour and Bud and Mary's charter boats which usually have a good supply of blackfin tuna. We'll be sure to target some mango snappers so we can have some white fish as well as the red tuna fillets. The last serious shark fishing that took place on the 7 mile bridge two weeks ago had JD Fagan hooking and losing a big Tiger shark that snapped his rod and got free .I have a friend that did some snapper fishing on the bridge last wekend and the snappers were on fire -hope the same holds true for the next couple of days. Hopefully the hammers and tigers will be in the cards for us.This event and others like it are more about the commaraderie and the good times spent with friends in the outdoors then about catching a big shark. If we catch a big shark it's icing on the cake because I can guarantee everyone out there will have a great time.Hope to see you all out there .

I have been overwhelmed with my Flower shop, and football season, but then out of the blue Willy tells me about The Halloween 7mile Hammer Hunt this weekend. Automatically i got a bit of an Adrenaline Rush like the one i would get as a kid the minute school let out and i raced via bus or on foot to my house (full speed) knowing that Either Hammer, or Rene was at my door step with the Truck reversed in just waiting for me to get home to beat traffick on the way to the keys....it was an Innocent Burst of exitment time and time again that i will never forget. The type of exitment, that when your running, you catch your self doing 360s in the air over curbs and reaching for leaves off off branches high in the air.... Maybe only in me, but thats someting ill never forget.

Well anyways i have missed fishing along side the South Florida shark Badly, and i am Stoked to meet all of the gang out there late Saturday Afternoon. Count Me,Meir,Sandra,Brianna,my friend David, and others to be joining me...

2nd Annual bridge Fish fry will Go down as well. Im bringing my huge Out Door Deep fryer,3 snook fillets and all the batter material, so get ready for finger licking deep fried fish!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

p.s. also bringing my secret dipping sauce that has avocado and mayonaise mixed with herbs that will blow your mind,

Anybody joining us, please bring fresh fish fillets. no jacks or nurse please..... lol.... Also if anyone has, please bring a big white propain tank.................................

Get the !6-0s out the closet fellas its ONNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
